[Development Case] Custom Specification License Plate Recognition Camera System

Network coverage for a wide area! Introducing custom cases of the vehicle number recognition system!

We would like to introduce a case study of a custom specification developed based on the standard product number plate recognition device "mmEye-VA4-LPR." It supports a speed of 100 km/h and a recognition distance of 30 m. The power environment is stabilized by the inclusion of a monitoring UPS, and the LTE communication function covers a wide area network. Additionally, it supports PoE+ (IEEE802.3at), simplifying installation and construction. With a built-in large-capacity SSD, local recording within the device is possible. 【Case Overview】 ■ Purpose: Custom adaptation of vehicle number recognition system ■ Development Scope: All processes from camera to edge computing were conducted in-house - Camera, data collection, annotation, algorithm optimization, edge computing ■ Configuration: Device unit, waterproof camera with lighting *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
